Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a nicely decorated and clean room, but it was smaller than expected and a bit noisy, which was a downside. The service was mixed, with a kind gesture of a free night offered but not very welcoming initially. The location was quiet and peaceful, great for the motorway network, but the pub-style dining was disappointing. The dining experience was good in terms of food quality but not considered value for the price.
The hotel rooms were absolutely amazing, very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. The hotel maintains high standards of comfort for all residents and provides excellent meals in the restaurant. The location was lovely, especially for visiting Durham, though it may not suit everyone. The dining experience had room for improvement, but the grilled meats were enjoyable.
The hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable with coffee and tea facilities, but there was some noise from a wedding event I wasn't aware of. The meals were excellent and the overall cleanliness was impressive.
